Hi everyone, in a few weeks time I will be leaving to go on maternity leave. That means that the fantastic Room 18 will need a new teacher to take over when I am gone.
A group of talented Year 6 students from this class decided to create an advertisement for the position. If you haven't already seen it, the movie ad is on our school website under 'Employment opportunities'. But you can view it below.
Mrs Burt tells me that we have had some amazing responses from people around the world interested in the movie. I just hope that we get an amazing teacher for this amazing class. Watch this space......!

I love the way you explain what you want your teacher to do. I guess you can see the value of your podcasts and blogging. I am sure that whatever teacher they get for you will learn more from you than you will learn from him or her!

ReplyDeleteHi Room 18, I have been at a VERY big conference in Christchurch during the holidays. It had about 2000 teachers there learning how to do their job better and the main speaker showed THIS video up on the big screen to all the people who were there. Lots of people came up to me afterwards and said that you guys are amazing (I wish they had bothered to tell YOU lot instead of me - they are still being trained about how to work online!) so I thought I should pass it on to you.
