MTVS created by Year 5 & 6 Extension

The following movies are MTV's created by our Year 5 & 6 Extension group. Their task was to create an MTV to show what the Pt England Way is all about. They needed to show how we learn, create, and share at our school. They movies were filmed and edited by the students.

The Pt England Way MTVs

This term our Extension classes had to work in small groups to create an MTV about the Pt England Way. The Pt England Way is all about the way we do things at our school. One of the criteria was to show how we could make kindness go viral (theme for the year). They also needed to show what 'Learn, Create, Share' looks like at our school. The learners scripted, storyboarded, filmed and edited their own movies.

The Real World

Your journey through school is a unique experience. Some students like to work hard, while others are happy to cruise along and enjoy their time with their friends. Which type are you?

This movie stars our Year 7 & 8 Extension students. We captured some footage from a workshop at Te Oro (Music and Arts Centre) in Glen Innes. We also managed to include a few shots from some scenes from our School Production which some of our extension students starred in. We hope you enjoy our MTV. (music: "White Lines" by Six60)

Kungfu Fighting

Who loves Kungfu movies? The following movie was created by our Year 5 & 6 Extension students who were keen to share a fun MTV of an old classic hit - Kungfu Fighting.

MTV by Rave and Nikita

This MTV was created by Rave and Nikita. It is very entertaining to watch and they did a great job editing and getting the music to match the lip synching. Well done girls! We hope you enjoy watching their movie. Please leave them some feedback.

MTV by Crusader, Starford and Kingston

Team 5's creative strand task last term was to make an MTV of a song that was from a particular era. James, Crusader, Starford and Kingston made an MTV for the song 'My Girl' by the Temptations in the 1960's. Well done boys!
