Polynesian Navigation animations

Here are some of the animations created by the Year 5&6 Extension group. In Term 2 they have been learning about ancient Polynesian navigation techniques. The early Polynesians were skilled navigators and used signposts from nature to help them navigate their way around the Pacific Ocean to find land.

The Outlook for Someday Winners 2015!

Congratulations to our team of Year 5 & 6 Extension students who are one of this years 'The Outlook for Someday' winners. Their movie entry called 'Biodiversity' won the category for the best 'Animated Documentary'. Well done to Yvonne, Cameo, Talita, Venetia, Seini, Omari and Noah.
