Express Yourself - Manaiakalani Film Festival 2013

A group of students in our class wanted to create a rap to express their feelings about school and life in general. The background track is an instrumental called 'Express Yourself' by 'NWA'. Everyone else had fun participating as dancers, actors, videographers, movie editors etc. The second short movie is a mash up of different songs matched to things we might say in real life. Please feel free to leave us a positive comment if you enjoyed our movie.

Awesome movie Mrs Lagitupu and Room 21. I loved the lyrics and the part at the end where you used songs instead of talking that was pretty clever. You are an amazing bunch. Well done to you all!!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed you movie. You guys are really talented when it comes to making movies. You were very smart and creative to come up with the rap and the different songs to put in. My favourite part of the movie was the second part. I thought that you used suitable songs which made it GREAT and sometimes funny!
Did you have a particular person or group in your class who came up with the idea of putting songs into real life?
These Manaiakalani Film Festivals are getting better and better each year thanks to classes like you!

WOW! room 21 I think you guy had an awesome movie. It was really marvellous and outstanding. The music was great and nice lip syncing to. I also like songs in real life that was really funny when Lorenzo woke up and started singing I'm wide a wake I also like the part when Uili said "Peanut butter jelly."
