Te Wiki o te reo Māori is becoming a major fixture on the national calendar providing an opportunity for concentrated promotion, raising awareness and giving an opportunity for expert and advanced speakers to encourage others on their te reo Māori journey. link

Tongan Language Week
To celebrate the end of Tongan Language week a large group of students performed at assembly. Amelia in Year 8 choreographed the girls dance which was then taught by Tia, Shania and Ms Tuia. The boys item was choreographed by Viliami in Year 8 with some help from Ms King and Mrs Ilaoa. The students were amazing and the costumes beautiful!
